WHY EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Experiential learning is based on the premise that man retains 25% if what he sees, almost 45% of what he sees and hears and 90 to 100% of what he does or experiences.
But there are many examples where experience alone is not sufficient for meeting particular learning goals.  In such situations, it seems to work better if the raw experience is packaged together with facilitated exercises which involve thinking, discussing, or creatively processing cognitions and emotions related to the raw experience.
Our experiential workshops bring to you a set of customized simulations specially designed to achieve your learning objectives. The team simulations are bound to leave the participants with a deep sense of self realization and result in long term positive behavioural change

THE IDEA MODEL
At Mustard Seed we understand that training adults is a complex issue and we have developed a unique and highly effective process that delivers results. Incorporating experiential learning concepts, we combine solid success principles with a hands-on style to help people at all levels to learn, master and apply new skills.

In order to ensure success, all our Training initiatives follow our own IDEA model of: Instruct; demonstrate; Experience; Apply. The programs do more than just teach the principles – they give the Participants enough opportunity to practice the tools, techniques & concepts. Mastery does not come simply as a result of exposure – it comes as a result of practicing new behaviors in the day-to-day realities of your world and doing so with continued support, reinforcement and follow up.

ENSURING TRAINING EFFECTIVENESS:
Ensuring that ongoing application of the learning occurs on the job is a key success factor for any training & development initiative. In order to make certain that the knowledge and skill is transferred to the workplace, Mustard Seed offers many optional learning retention tools, pre and post training, 360 degree feedback through Manager Assimilation Process, email reinforcement, telephone coaching, debrief and application of the course content and periodic refresher reviews to address specific issues encountered when applying the content on the job.
